Having faith is not the same as walking in faith. If we want the things of HEAVEN to happen on EARTH, we have to do things on earth as they are done in HEAVEN. The human mind thinks 50,000 thoughts a day and 35,000 of them are negative.
Human beings live in a valley called SHADOW OF DEATH! Our mind is finite. We tend to respond emotionally to the events of life. Worse yet, we tend to react more to the fear of what may happen than to the promises of God.
Hebrews 11 is the portion of the Bible where God introduces us to the great men of faith in a single chapter. He calls her the runner of fame. These men were characterized by doing things different from the status quo of their time.
Society is full of rules and laws where the devil has influenced to establish that good is bad and bad is good. Walking in faith is difficult when we live in an upside-down society. What is normal for the world is abnormal for God.
During the pandemic, many people thought they had faith, but the shaking came to show them the type of faith they had. There is faith to act! There is faith to endure!
When faith comes in, fear comes out. When fear comes in, faith comes out. The athlete cannot train on the same day as the race. Likewise the Christian needs to start believing the truth of God!
We live in times of too many idols and stars:
- in art
- in sports
- in Hollywood
I think there are too many idols and stars but not enough heroes. The world needs heroes, not stars.
WHO ARE THE HEROES OF GOD?
- THOSE WHO FAITH LED THEM TO ACT!!
- MATTHEW 6:33: BUT SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL OTHER THINGS WILL BE ADDED.
- IT DOESN'T SAY SEEK GOD FIRST! THE KINGDOM IS THE GOVERNMENT OF GOD THAT COMES TO MANIFEST THROUGH HIS CHILDREN.
PARAPHRASING:
- HAVE THE VISION TO EXTEND AND MANIFEST MY KINGDOM AND I WILL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEEDS.
Hebrews 10:38 — But the righteous will live by faith;
Worry is a moderate form of atheism! It is faith turned upside down.
Dare to walk in faith and you will be surprised by what God will do with you.
